Layflat Hoses
Hose Shop have a high quality range of Layflat Hose suitable for a range of tasks such as conveying and discharging water for irrigation purposes; as well as various roles in engineering and construction projects. The PVC that most of our layflat hose are made from means they are extremely flexible and resistant to kinks this allows for easy compression when not in use. Layflat hose is ideal for storage and transporting as well as being user friendly.
Layflat hoses are resistant to most oxidising and reducing agents and diluted acids and alkalis as well as being toughened to avoid damage from abrasion whilst in use.
Application: Layflat Delivery Hose are for the conveyance and discharge of fluids. Particularly suitable for irrigation and water supply application in general industries, civil and construction engineering, agricultural and shipbuilding.
Pressures: Values are given based on the short term burst pressure of the hose at 20°C based on a 3:1 safety factor. This product is only suitable for open ended discharge applications. Pressure ratings are based on discharge pressure from the pump unit.
Note: Any increase in temperature above 20°C will result in a decline in working pressure values.
Chemical Resistance: Resistant to the oils and greases as above. These hoses are not suitable for use with benzene, petrol, spirits, xylol, tuluol or solvents containing aromatics. For more detailed information, please contact us on 01423 712038.
Benefit: Layflat Delivery Hose provides the benefits of high performance with lightness in weight when compared with same size of spiral PVC delivery hose and rubber discharge hoses. Additionally, it is easier to store, to handle and to transport.
