RJT Fittings

RJT Fittings are used for a predominantly in the brewing and food industry where hygiene is a high priority. An RJT Pipe Fitting is used to join hoses together or connect onto a machine or other vessel.

Stainless Steel RJT Pipe Fittings are available to suit hoses from 1" to 2” however some larger sizes are available on request.

RJT stands for 'Ring Joint Type', they are easily assembled and dismantled for cleaning, this being a result of having a Whitworth form thread. RJT type couplings comprise of four parts - male part, a liner, O ring seal and hexagonal nut. The joint is made by positioning the male part and the liner together, with a seal inserted between. The nut is then slipped over the liner, screwed on to the male part and tightened against the liner to compress the seal.

RJT fittings may be operated at pressures up to 10 Bar (145psi)
